Star Vet to treat bear

The polar bear living at the Cleveland Zoo had a broken leg set by the veternarian who treated the raceing star Barbaro.

As reported by CNN, "Dr. Dean Richardson will operate on Alcor, the 750-pound polar bear with two badly broken bones just above his right paw, sometime next week at the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, where Barbaro is being treated, officials said."

Country Fried Shame

Country music star Troy Lee Gentry was charged earlier this month with killing a tame bear and claiming it as a hunting trophy. For shame Mr. Gentry. This is one of the most cowardly killings of a bear that this blogger has ever hear of.
